Clean Up Australia Day
COMMUNITY SERVICE
CLEAN UP AUSSIE DAY 2008
(Click on the photo for a larger image)
Coolamon Rotarians filing up their utes with rubbish collected on the Coolamon to Ganmain Road. Happy mob.
Rotarian Marg Perkin giving Jessie the supervisor a scratch.
The road is now spotless! We covered 10 kilometres in 2 hours and collected all sorts of rubbish including a football, barbed wire and lots of empty cans of beer.
The team with their trophies. (Taken by Thomas Lillywhite).
L to R: Rotarians Garth Perkin, Annette Green, Barry Lillywhite, Max Chapman, Marg Perkin, Ian Jennings, John Glassford and President Grahame Miles.
We had an impromptu game of footy before we went to the tip with the rubbish, there were two others in the team Ray and Maria Foley not in the photo. See the web site below for info on the clean up campaign Australia wide.
